In Chicago, two new night spots allow you to indulge your taste for Russian beluga or American sturgeon caviars. At Biggs, 1150 North Dearborn, the caviar and martini bar is a destination in itself or a prelude to dinner in the vintage 1874 mansion.
At Narcisse Champagne Salon & Caviar Bar, 710 North Clark Street, pricy pampering draws everyone from after-five business folk to trust-fund twentysomethings.
Caviar is served on a silver platter — what else? — draped in faux pearls.
“It’s a touch of luxury after work,” said Narcisse partner Kathryn Sullivan. “You can come here and have champagne and caviar and feel special and then go home and watch ‘Seinfeld.’ “
