TANDY BRANDS BACK IN BLACK
ARLINGTON, Tex. — Tandy Brands Accessories Inc. reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.1 million, or 19 cents a share, against a year-ago loss of $2 million after a charge of $3.9 million for a write-off of goodwill and other intangibles.
Sales for the three months ended June 30 rose 22.7 percent to $25 million from $20.4 million.
“These improved results were achieved through strong performances by each of the company’s divisions, led by our women’s accessory Design Group division,” J.S.B Jenkins, president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
