PARIS — L’Oreal has created two new entities to handle its growing business in Eastern Europe.
Romelor Cosmetica will oversee marketing and sales of the L’Oreal brands in Romania, while Lorcos Kozmetika will do the same in Slovenia. Both are wholly owned subsidiaries of L’Oreal.
The principal brands that Romelor and Lorcos will oversee include L’Oreal Paris and Laboratoires Garnier Paris, which had previously been distributed in those countries by commercial agents.
L’Oreal has been rapidly developing its business in Eastern Europe, with separate businesses already in place in Russia, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
