TYLER LICENSES ROSSIMODA TO MANUFACTURE FOOTWEAR
NEW YORK — Tyler Trafficante Inc. has signed a license to produce footwear with Rossimoda SpA, a leather goods manufacturer in Venice, Italy, under the Richard Tyler label.
It is the first licensing deal for the Los Angeles-based sportswear designer. The first footwear collection will be shown next month for fall selling. It will be available at the Rossimoda showroom at 41 West 58th St. here. Wholesale prices will run from about $125 to about $200.
Rossimoda, a 50-year-old company, produces footwear for such clients as Yves Saint Laurent in the U.S. and Fendi and Genny worldwide, as well as a line under its own name and private label lines for Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Barneys New York.
