REEBOK SHIFTING APPAREL EXECS
NEW YORK — The job shuffle continues at Reebok’s apparel operations.
In moves announced Wednesday, Steve Murray shifts gears from vice president of international apparel to vice president of U.S. apparel. Murray, who relocated to Stoughton, Mass., in January after Reebok International closed its office in Stockly Park, England, will continue to be based in Stoughton. He reports to Roger Best, senior vice president and general manager of Reebok North America.
Several executives overseas have assumed Murray’s former international responsibilities, and a successor will not be named, a Reebok spokesman said.
Murray succeeds John Watson, who joined Reebok in August as senior vice president and general manager of apparel. Watson has now been named senior vice president of strategic marketing for the Reebok Brands division, a new post. Watson will continue to be based in Stoughton and reports to Robert Meers, president and chief executive officer of the Reebok Brands division. In October, Meers became the third person in less than a year to hold that post.
