HALLE DAY: Halle Berry was in the front row at the Anne Klein show Wednesday morning. The actress and new Revlon face said she’s looking for spring clothes and was planning to go to a few shows, including Donna Karan and, after some thought, “a designer whose name starts with F.”

FOOD FOR THE FASHIONABLE: So what’s with all that popcorn at the tents? Samsung, the Korean electronics giant, is popping it out in its own microwaves in an attempt to court the fashion crowd. It’s just one small kernel in Samsung’s $22 million promotional war chest this spring. “We made a real conscious effort to make it [Samsung] relevant to a young, hip audience,” said Peter Arnell, chairman of The Arnell Group, Samsung’s ad agency. “If you want to get a reading of where a culture is, it’s fashion.”
