MICHAEL KOWALSKI NAMED TIFFANY PRESIDENT
NEW YORK — Tiffany & Co. has promoted executive vice president Michael J. Kowalski to president. He will handle responsibilities previously held by William R. Chaney, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer. Kowalski joined Tiffany in 1983.
In a statement, Chaney said Kowalski will continue to be responsible for merchandising and marketing-related functions and will “assume responsibility for a number of special assignments to assist me in determining the future direction and development of the company.”
