MICHAEL BALLAS ON LIFE SUPPORT
DALLAS — Michael Ballas, a young sportswear designer whose career has been on the rise, lingered near death late Thursday at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York.
Ballas, 32, was on life support in neuro-intensive care at press time after suffering a brain aneurism in his New York hotel room early Thursday morning. He wasn’t expected to live through the night, according to his company’s spokesman here.
He moved to New York in December to expand his cocktail and eveningwear company.
