Dillard’s sold 1,000 units; J.Jill Catalog sold 1,200 units; Parisian sold 1,000 units, and Mercantile Stores sold 500. Overall, Mercantile’s sell-through has been 53.2 percent weekly. The dress retails for $102.

At Urban Outfitters and Nordstrom, Take Out’s pointelle short-sleeved fitted cardigan is selling through at 30 to 40 percent a week. The sweater retails for $38, and the hottest colors are white, black and banana.

The hills are alive with Sunbuster’s $90 stretch ski pants in black or navy. The pants are the best-selling item in the ski shop at the Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vt. Made of a Lycra spandex and Tactel blend, the pants are sold for a variety of sports.

At Charivari, Helmut Lang’s short-sleeved cotton shirt, which retails for $165, sold through at 100 percent in one week at two of the three Manhattan-based stores. Black and brown are the hottest colors.
