CHANGING PLACES: Lou Eaccarino has joined Goodman Knitting, a division of Kellwood Co., as executive vice president of sales. He reports to Peter A. Goodman, president and chief executive officer of Goodman Knitting.
Eaccarino, who had been president of Designer Originals, will be based in the New York showroom. He succeeds Peter Hill, who left to pursue other opportunities. Designer Originals is not seeking a successor for Eaccarino.
Goodman Knitting, based in Brockton, Mass., offers sweater-driven collections with moderate-to-better-priced separates and coordinates for men, women and girls.
At Koret of California Inc., Denise Johnston was named senior vice president of merchandising and design for all products.
Johnston, who was vice president of dresses at Carole Little, takes over the responsibilities of Joanne Bjork, who has been named Koret’s senior vice president of strategic planning and new business development. It is a new post. No successor has been named for Johnston at Carole Little.
Johnston and Bjork report to Steve Rudin, president.
HALSTON’S NEW VP: Kathleen Weck has joined Halston International as vice president of sales. She reports to Marc Setton, chief executive officer.
For six years, Weck was vice president of sales at the dress division of Liz Claiborne. Prior to that, she was sales manager/mer-chandiser at Bernard Chaus Inc., and was a buyer for Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale’s.
The Halston sportswear line, resurrected by Setton this year, debuted for fall.
