But Calvin Klein wanted to work them in a way that replaced romance with edge. “This has a whole new feeling, different than what I did three years ago,” he said. “This looks modern instead of ethereal.” In the knockout collection he showed on Friday, Klein worked in a strong palette, layering skintight stretches of silk jersey.
