BALL RESIGNS AT ANNE KLEIN; STAFINIAK NAMED
NEW YORK — Anne Ball has resigned as president of the Anne Klein Collection. She will be succeeded by Joseph Stafiniak, vice president of retail marketing.
Stafiniak joined Anne Klein in 1981 as sales manager for Anne Klein Collection. In 1987, he was named vice president of sales for that division. He has held his corporate marketing post since August 1994. Prior to joining Anne Klein, Stafiniak held various buying posts at Bonwit Teller. At Anne Klein, he reports to Tomio Taki, chairman of Takihyo Inc.
Ball, who assumed the president’s post of Anne Klein Collection in 1991, couldn’t be reached for comment on her plans.
Before joining Anne Klein, Ball was vice president and general merchandise manager of Barneys America.
