At Saks Fifth Avenue, Versace has the hottest-selling jeans in the men’s department. In the past week alone, the chain has sold 122 pairs at $140, according to Stan Tucker, vice president and fashion director.
At Chick’s, a seven-unit sporting goods store based in Covina, Calif., ski jackets and ski pants are bestsellers at the retailer’s 44,000-square-foot flagship. With retail prices ranging from $90 to $260, nylon jackets by Columbia Sportswear and Obermeyer have been popular with coordinating stretch pants from both resources. They retail from $50 to $116.
