NEW YORK — John Pridmore, 52, president and chief operating officer of Liberty Knitted Fabrics, a division of Liberty Fabrics, died Wednesday after collapsing at the company’s office here.
The cause of death was an apparent heart attack and he died in an ambulance en route to a hospital, according to Ed Stoler, Liberty’s vice president.
Pridmore joined Liberty in 1991after a five-year stint at Guilford Mills, where he was director of apparel marketing for the firm’s European operations. Prior to that, he was at Native Textiles for five years, where he held various sales and marketing posts.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and a daughter, Claire.
Services have not yet been set.
