REVLON’S LINDA HARRIS DIES AT 52
NEW YORK — Funeral services will be held here today for Linda Harris, who was senior vice president of creative and new business development at Revlon.
Harris, 52, died Saturday from cardiac arrest following a brief hospital stay. Today’s service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Chapel at 180 W. 76th St.
“Linda brought love and passion to the cosmetics industry. More than that, she brought fun and laughter to all of us who were fortunate enough to work with her,” said Kathy Dwyer, president of Revlon Cosmetics U.S. “We’ll all miss her deeply.”
Prior to joining Revlon in July 1994, Harris spent 11 years at L’Oreal, most recently as vice president of image and product development. There she helped launch and build the L’Oreal cosmetics brand.
From 1980 to 1983, Harris was at Revlon, where she worked in product development for Princess Marcella Borghese and as marketing director for fine fragrances.
Survivors include her brother, Neil Harris; and two cousins, Rita and Bernard Pansel.
