NEW YORK — Louise Evins has resigned as vice president, general merchandise manager of Henri Bendel, where she was in charge of designer, bridge and fancy apparel, as well as cosmetics and accessories.
Evins, who joined Bendel’s five years ago, will become a partner with her husband, Matthew Evins, in the public relations firm Marilyn Evins Ltd., which will change its name to Evins Communications.
Teresa Tymoski, vice president and general merchandise manager of sportswear, dresses, New Creators and coats at Bendel’s, will add Evins’s responsibilities.
At Evins Communications, Louise Evins will be president and chief operating officer, and Matthew Evins — who founded the firm with his mother, Marilyn, in 1987 — will be chief executive officer.
