The divorce is official for Isabella Rossellini and Lancome, and both parties have new suitors waiting in the wings. Lancome has hired Juliette Binoche as the face for its new women’s fragrance, Poème, which will be launched in the fall. Rossellini, who started working for Lancome in 1982, is apparently going to the rival Lancaster Group. She will announce her intentions Tuesday at a press conference at the Four Seasons restaurant.
Lancôme said Friday that Rossellini has agreed to let the company use her advertising photos and films after her exclusive contract ends at the close of this year.
First it was Madonna. Now, it’s going to be Sylvester Stallone and Claudia Schiffer who will star in a Gianni Versace ad campaign. Shot by Richard Avedon, the ads will feature the designer’s home collection, and one of the images is a naked Stallone covered only by a Versace plate.
