$2.86M IN FEES ASKED IN CH. 11 FOR LESLIE FAY

NEW YORK — Attorneys, accountants and investment advisers involved in The Leslie Fay Cos. Chapter 11 case are asking for a total of $2.86 million in fees for their work during the four months ended Dec. 31.
The largest bills were submitted by Leslie Fay’s bankruptcy counsel, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, which is seeking $909,000 in fees and expenses; Arthur Anderson LLP, advisers to Weil, Gotshal in its investigation on behalf of the audit committee of Leslie Fay’s board, seeking $456,338, and The Blackstone Group LP, Leslie Fay’s financial advisers, asking for $407,800.
A hearing on the applications is set for April 28.
