L&T PICKS LAMB TO RUN CAREER AREA
NEW YORK — – Reorganizing its women’s sportswear management, Lord & Taylor said Tuesday that Dian K. Lamb, a divisional vice president and merchandise manager, will supervise career sportswear, Liz Claiborne and tops.
She reports to Jane Elfers, who, as reported, was promoted this week to senior vice president and general merchandise manager of career and casual sportswear and special sizes.
Also, Kira A. Karmazin has been promoted to divisional merchandise manager for moderate and large-size dresses. She was a buyer of better career dresses.
The changes follow the departure of Kathryn Bufanos, a senior vice president and general merchandise manager, who will join Macy’s East as executive vice president of sportswear on Monday.
“We have an organization of highly talented executives at Lord & Taylor that enables us to promote from within,” Marshall Hilsberg, chairman and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
