HAMMER NAMED PRESIDENT OF REVLON UNIT
NEW YORK — John M. Hammer, a 26-year veteran of the professional hair care business, has been named president of Revlon Professional USA.
He replaces Beth Bronner, who joined AT&T as vice president of consumer communication and services.
Hammer will oversee all marketing, advertising, sales promotion and manufacturing for the professional division, which distributes hair products to salons.
He will report to Carlos Colomer, chairman of Revlon Professional Worldwide.
Prior to joining Revlon, Hammer was chairman and chief executive officer of Styling Research Co., a manufacturer of professional hair products based in Woodland Hills, Calif.
Before that he was president of Redken USA, and also worked at Framesi USA, Sebastian International and Wella Corp.
