DALLAS — Services for Arthur Kapplow Jr., 47, senior vice president for merchandising at Fingerhut Cos., Minnetonka, Minn., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Levitt-Weinstein Kendall Memorial Chapel in Miami.
Kapplow died Tuesday at his home in Minnetonka, apparently of a heart attack.
The executive joined Fingerhut in 1992 after 22 years with J.C. Penney Co., where his last position was accessories merchandiser. He began his career with Penney’s in 1970 as a management trainee in Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; two sons, Arthur 3rd and Jonathan; a daughter, Elizabeth Kapplow; a brother, Frank, and two sisters, Vickie Schwisburg and Barbara Simon.
