NEW YORK — Target, the discount department store, has taken to the runways.
The mass marketer presented a fall fashion show, which included some office-friendly looks, at the Four Seasons Hotel this week. Corbin Seitz, Target’s style consultant, stressed the importance the store places on delivering the trends to their customers at affordable prices. The store featured items such as layers of knits in Nordic and marbled patterns, schoolgirl-inspired pleated skirts and vests over crisp white shirts. Retail prices in both groups ranged from $14.99 for a white tucked-front shirt to $34.99 for a wool knit cardigan.
