SAKS APPOINTS TERI GAKOS DIV. MERCHANDISE MANAGER
NEW YORK — Teri Gakos has been named divisional merchandise manager of intimate apparel and hosiery at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Gakos reports to Gail Pisano, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of intimate apparel, hosiery, soft accessories, women’s shoes and handbags.
She succeeds Kim Anderson-Curry, who, as reported, joined Sears, Roebuck & Co. in Chicago as divisional merchandise manager of accessories.
Gakos was buyer of women’s shoes at Saks for 1 1/2 years. Before that, she was administrator of women’s shoes at Macy’s East for 2 1/2 years.
