NEW YORK — Services for Steven Brody, 75, a retired designer and manufacturer of costume jewelry, will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at the Unitarian Church of All Souls, East 84th Street and Lexington Ave.
Brody died Friday in Beth Israel North here of kidney failure, according to his companion, Max Frescoln.
Brody was president and a founder of the former Cadoro Jewels here. He also served as the firm’s designer.
He and his late business partner, Dan Stoenesco, started the firm in 1954, producing better-price costume jewelry. The firm closed in 1987, when Brody retired.
Aside from his companion, there are no immediate survivors.
