NEW YORK — For at least one night, members of the Textile Distributors Association were able to set aside their concerns about printed fabrics, imports, textile shows and rising raw materials costs.
The reason?
The annual TDA dinner dance, held last week at Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room, a gala black tie affair that drew 375. “After a year like we’ve been through, it’s nice to see we can all relax and smile a little bit,” said Gerald Greenstein, president of JBJ Fabrics. “Tomorrow morning, though, it’s a different story.”
The evening began with a cocktail reception, followed by a roast rack of lamb dinner and dancing to the music of Todd Stone.
