JACKIE TRIBUTE: L’Oreal has style on the mind. The company has sponsored the newest exhibit at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. — “Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years — Selections from the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum.” More than 80 original wardrobe pieces and artifacts from the Kennedy White House years will be on display. The exhibit, which opened April 6 will run through Sept. 30.
In L’Oreal news from Paris, Christian Mulliez has been named executive vice president of administration and finance, succeeding Michel Somnolet, vice president, managing director of administration.
HUTTON’S TURN: The notion of a model entering the beauty category has been increasingly familiar as of late. Iman has a beauty line, Naomi Campbell has a fragrance and even Cindy Crawford has a scent in the works. And the category is about to have yet another player — Lauren Hutton. According to sources, the gap-toothed beauty is set to premiere her cosmetics line in September. The name of the line was not disclosed.
