HOST OF HOSIERY ISSUES: The Hosiery Association’s 97th annual convention will feature several seminars, including a presentation on building better business skills in the hosiery industy, roundtable discussions on sheers, socks, and seamless merchandise.
Based on efforts made in recent years to reinvent the industry, hosiery executives will spend three days developing strategies to help the dwindling U.S. industry move forward competitively, while addressing retailer and consumer needs.
Unlike previous conventions, THA will refrain from bringing in international fashion and hosiery experts to conduct seminars. Instead it will focus on developing new programs.
In addition, soft exhibits will allow a selection of hosiery executive to show their wares. The convention is scheduled from April 24-26 at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Hilton Head, S.C.
