INTIMATE NOTES

NEW ERES LOOK: Eres, the upscale French lingerie and swimwear label that’s a part of the Chanel family, hosted an open house recently at its Madison Avenue boutique in New York.
Known for its sensual, sheer bras and panties, the big news at Eres for fall is a Thirties-inspired group, which includes a lace-trimmed thong-back or boy-cut bodysuit retailing for $200 to $215, and a bra and coordinating boy-cut briefs, retailing at $175 and $85, respectively.
Designer Irene Leroux described the new look in black opaque matte jersey as “a new, innovative addition to my collection. Because of its simplicity and the natural silhouette the styles give a woman’s figure, they fit like a second skin.” Colors are solid black, chestnut and ivory.

UJA HONOREES: On May 7, the UJA-Federation’s Apparel Division will honor Dov Lautman, chairman of Israel-based Delta Galil Industries, and Nancy Wade, divisional merchandise manager of the intimate apparel division of Wal-Mart Stores.
