POLO APPOINTS LANCASTER
NEW YORK — Olin Lancaster, who was president of Kenneth Cole’s men’s wear for the past two years, was named senior vice president of sales for Polo Brands at Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. on Thursday.
The new position is responsible for sales, retail development and customer service for Polo brands, such as Polo by Ralph Lauren, Polo Sport and Polo Golf by Ralph Lauren for men and women. Lancaster reports to Joy Herfel, president of Polo Brands.
Prior to Kenneth Cole, Lancaster worked for Polo’s retail and corporate sales division and its boys’ licensee. He first joined the firm in 1988 as a store manager and eventually was promoted to positions including director of corporate sales for Ralph Lauren Home and vice president of sales and marketing for Polo Ralph Lauren Boys Co., a division of Oxford Industries.
At Kenneth Cole, he was also in charge of sales, marketing and merchandising for the company’s men’s division.
