LE ROUZIC TO HEAD BALMAIN PERFUMES
PARIS — Jean-Claude Le Rouzic, 60, has been appointed chairman of Balmain Perfumes, effective immediately. He replaces Pierre de Champsfleury, who left the company in July.
Rouzic was formerly the president and chief executive officer of Boucheron. As reported, he ended his 16-year term at the company in June. Prior to that, he worked at Sanofi Beaute, where he was director of the fragrance division for 20 years.
“Jean-Claude Le Rouzic will bring his long experience in the perfume industry to relaunch Balmain and to accompany the development of the couture and accessories,” the company said in a statement.
Balmain Perfumes has Ivoire, Vent Vert and Monsieur Balmain in its stable.
