L’OREAL FILLS PROFESSIONAL POST
Byline: Andrea M. Grossman
NEW YORK — L’Oreal USA has named David Craggs president of the L’Oreal Professional Division, which includes the Redken, L’Oreal Professional, L’Oreal Classic and Matrix brands. Craggs will report to Guy Peyrelongue, president and chief executive officer of L’Oreal USA. The appointment becomes effective Feb. 26.
Craggs replaces Jim Morrison, who resigned in mid-November to pursue other business interests.
Most recently Craggs served as managing director of the L’Oreal Group in Scandinavia. Prior to that position, he was director general of L’Oreal Professional Products Division in the United Kingdom.
In a statement, Peyre-longue said Craggs “has demonstrated a tremendous capacity for growing and developing salon businesses across many different markets.”
Reporting to Craggs will be the L’Oreal Professionel, L’Oreal Classic, Redken 5th Avenue, Matrix Essentials and Keratase divisions.
