NEW YORK — Fila Holding has added three newcomers to its senior ranks.
Gianfranco Vercellone has joined the company as vice president of global sales. He is based at the firm’s offices in Biella, Italy and reports to Michele Scannavini, chief executive officer.
Prior to joining Fila, Vercellone, 44, served as general manager of Prenatal, an Italian company that specializes in infant apparel and accessories. At Fila, he succeeds Marco Negri who left the company last month.
Richard Stafford, 36, who joined the company in January as sales manager, has been promoted to sales manager for European footwear. His work experience includes runs at Diadora, Reebok and Umbro. Stafford will also be based in Italy and reports to Vercellone.
He has taken over responsibilities previously handled by Silvio Leonadi, director of international sales accounts.
Peter Lawson, 40, has been appointed managing director of Fila U.K. He was last at Reebok as general manager of accessories for the U.K., Ireland and Holland.
