RENEE MOSKOWITZ NAMED PUBLISHER AT WWD.COM
NEW YORK — Renee Moskowitz has been named publisher of WWD.com, the business-to-business Internet division of Women’s Wear Daily that will launch May 15. Moskowitz, who reports to WWD publisher Lynette Harrison, comes from Mademoiselle where she had been Eastern advertising director.
“There are two reasons Renee was perfect for this job,” said Harrison. “She has extensive experience on the print advertising side of the business. In addition to her work at Mademoiselle, she worked at Elle and was on the launch team of Marie Claire.” Moskowitz has also worked on the manufacturing side, in executive positions at Halston III, Hoechst Celanese and McCall Pattern Co. Before that, she launched and was a principal in MothersBest, a maternity dress company.
