PENNEY’S CONTINUES EXEC APPOINTMENTS
NEW YORK — J.C. Penney Co.’s restructuring continues with more executive appointments.
John Irvin was named J.C. Penney’s senior vice president and president of its catalog and Internet divisions. He will direct activities for the catalog and Internet organizations and the development of those strategic business plans. Prior to joining the company, Irvin was president and chief executive officer of Spiegel, Inc. He will report to Vanessa Castagna, J.C. Penney’s executive vice president, and president and chief operating officer for stores.
Also, B.D. Feiwus has been named senior vice president and associate director of the catalog. In the post, he will direct merchandising, operations, marketing, advertising and publication objectives and strategies. Feiwus spent 19 years at Neiman Marcus, including 8 years as president and ceo of Neiman Marcus Direct. Prior to joining J.C. Penney, he was president of online rewards program eRewards.com. Feiwus will report to Irvin.
