The GQ Video Wall and Lounge
GQ magazine presents the fall 2001 Trend Video. Take a break from the show floor and view highlights and trends from the European men’s wear designers. Located at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Lobby.
The Edge Lounge
Find deejays spinning, a dance floor, MSN Computer Stations and Virgin Records CD listening stations at your fingertips. A complete schedule of events is posted in the lounge. Located at the SECC, Lower Level.
ESPN The Magazine Sports Gallery
A celebration of sports-meets-fashion, featuring “The Influence of Sports on Fashion” video, editorial blowups from the magazine, and “The MAGIC International President’s Club Invitational” golf tournament coverage. Located at the LVCC Grand Lobby.
Vert Ramp Demo and Challenge
Come see skateboarding pros from around the world skate a 32-foot ramp. Tuesday to Thursday: noon and 4 p.m. Friday: noon only. Located in the Board Sports area at the LVCC.
Golf Tournament. ESPN The Magazine presents “The MAGIC Invitational President’s Club Invitational.” This event is by invitation only. Monday, Feb. 12, 8:45 a.m., at the South Shore Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada.
Opening Night Party. MAGIC Invitational presents the opening night party featuring the rock and blues sound of B.B. King, Jonny Lang and Shannon Curfman. Tickets required. Located at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Tuesday, Feb. 13; doors open at 7 p.m.
The Edge Party. Witness an exclusive performance by the highly aerodynamic performance group De La Guarda. (see page 7). By invitation only. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 9 p.m., at the Rio Hotel and Casino.

Tuesday, Feb. 13
Doneger Design presents “David Wolfe’s Top 10 Trends.” The Doneger Group’s famed trend forecaster presents his view of the 10 most important ideas in color, fabric, design, lifestyle and other areas influencing fashion for fall 2001. Noon at the SECC, Room 103.
Fasturn Inc. (Fasturn.com) presents “Sourcing Gets Technical: Using Technology to Find Your Value in Your Supply Chain.” A panel of experts will discuss the most cutting-edge technology solutions that significantly enhance the process of designing, sourcing and delivering your made-to-order goods. 3 p.m. at the LVCC, Room 246.
MAGIConline presents “Easy as B2B” moderated by Edward Cortese, fashion domain executive, and Joel Amdt, sales executive, Advanstar Communications. The Evolution of the Business of Fashion: A Discussion of the online B2B fashion experience and its growing role in buying/selling/marketing strategy. Modeled on the exciting needs of real buyers in today’s competitive fashion marketplace. NPDFashionworld presents “Who’s Behind the Buys?” Experts share highlights of the latest trends impacting the men’s, women’s and children’s wear retail landscape. 9 a.m. at the LVCC, Room 246.
International Fashion Fabric Exhibition and the American Trend & Color Committee presents the COLORQUAKE fall-winter 2001-02 color trend forecast. Representing the opinions of more than 25 industry experts and forecasting leaders, the ATCC will reveal their results on directional colors, key fabrics, hot items and cutting-edge trends for fashion and related industries. 11:30 a.m. at the LVH, Second Floor.
Cotton Incorporated presents “Spring-Summer 2002 Womenswear Trend Direction.” Focusing on updated and modernized ideas in cotton for the spring-summer 2002 season. 12 noon at the SECC, Room 103.
The Retail Writing Lounge
A quiet place where retailers can write business off the show floor. Located at the LVCC, Room N243.
The Press Lounge
Offers members of the media places to file stories and gather information. Located at the LVCC, Room N253 and the SECC, Room 107.
The President’s Club Lounge
Private lounges where members can relax or conduct meetings in a comfortable environment away from the show floor. Located at the LVCC, Room N250, and the SECC, Room 105.

Service Between Venues
Take advantage of MAGIC’s complimentary limousine and shuttle services provided between the LVCC and the SECC. Service times are from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Hotel Shuttle Service
Available between MAGIC select hotels and the LVCC and SECC. Service times are from 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Airport Shuttle Service
Available on Feb. 16 only, transportation is provided from the LVCC to the McCarran Airport. Shuttles are located in front of the LVCC and run every 30 minutes.
