NEW YORK — William Finkelstein has been promoted to the new post of chief operating officer of The Warnaco Group’s Calvin Klein Jeanswear and Underwear division, effective March 1.
Philip Terenzio has joined Warnaco to succeed Finkelstein as chief financial officer. Terenzio comes from BestFoods, where he has been vice president and controller since 1998.
In his new position, Finkelstein will focus on operations, financing, sourcing and sales for the division, which, Warnaco said, generates about $900 million in wholesale revenue, nearly 40 percent of Warnaco’s $2.3 billion annual total. Finkelstein will not be involved in design or merchandising.
Finkelstein has been with the firm, based here, since 1988 and has served as chief financial officer since 1995.
At BestFoods, Terenzio reorganized, streamlined and coordinated various financial functions. Prior to joining BestFoods, he was a partner at KPMG, independent public accounts, where he spent 27 years.
