NEW YORK — Bruce Convissar has resigned as chief operating officer of Williamson-Dickie after a two-and-a-half-year tenure at the Fort Worth, Tex.-based workwear company.
“We have undergone a reorganization at Williamson-Dickie and we will not be replacing the [chief operating officer],” a company statement said. “Those duties and responsibilities have been reassigned to existing senior management.”
The company provided no other details. Philip Williamson heads the firm as chairman and chief executive officer.
Convissar supervised sales, marketing, planning, merchandising, product development, distribution and customer service. He joined Williamson-Dickie after serving as a consultant to the firm during his earlier affiliation with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was director of organizational effectiveness practice.
Convissar, whose plans for the future aren’t known, didn’t return calls to his home in Fort Worth on Friday.
