PARIS — After four seasons of designing the Salvatore Ferragamo collection, Marc Audibet is leaving the company.
Audibet said from his Paris home that he had completed his contract and his obligations to the company, declining to elaborate on the reasons for his exit.
Ferragamo officials could not be reached at press time on Tuesday.
The designer had joined Ferragamo in 2000 as women’s design studio head, after working as a consultant at Trussardi and six years at Prada.
At Ferragamo, he worked with Giovanna Ferragamo, who oversees ready-to-wear, and Nicole Fischelis, senior vice president of fashion worldwide, who was recruited from Saks Fifth Avenue in 1999.
