LIPRANDI IS DIRECTOR AT GALLIANO
PARIS — Serge Liprandi has been appointed managing director of John Galliano.
Jardins d’Avron, the company that runs the Galliano fashion business, told WWD Thursday that Liprandi, 40, would assume the new post on March 20. He joins Galliano from the French ready-to-wear firm Tehen, where he was managing director for six years. He will report to Valerie Hermann, president of Galliano and director of ready-to-wear at Christian Dior Couture.
“The appointment is part of putting the right team in place as the Galliano business continues to grow,” said Herman.
