PIZZO PROMOTED TO PRESIDENT OF CENTURY BUSINESS CREDIT
NEW YORK — Thomas Pizzo has been promoted to president of Century Business Credit Corp., a unit of Wells Fargo & Co.’s Foothill Group.
Pizzo succeeds Andrew Tananbaum, who resigned to pursue opportunities outside the factoring business.
Pizzo has been executive vice president of Century Business Credit and a member of its executive committee since 1992. His more than 35 years in the factoring and financial services business include positions with C&S Commercial Corp., where he was executive vice president; Security Pacific Business Credit, and Citicorp Industrial Credit.
The Foothill Group, one of the largest bank-owned asset-based lending companies in the U.S., purchased Century Business Credit in February 1999.
