INTIMATE NOTES

BISOU GETS INTIMATE: Bisou-Bisou has signed a licensing pact with Design Marketing Concepts to introduce a line of lingerie bearing the Bisou-Bisou label.
Intimately Yours, a New York-based intimate apparel firm with manufacturing facilities in Hong Kong, will produce the licensed lingerie.
First-year retail sales are projected at $3 million, and sales are expected to double by 2003, said a spokeswoman for Los Angeles-based Bisou-Bisou, whose name means “little kiss” in French.
A capsule lingerie collection was previewed in March and will be presented in its entirety at the May innerwear market at two locations in New York — the Bisou-Bisou showroom at 215 West 40th Street and the Intimately Yours showroom at 183 East 34th Street, said the spokeswoman.
Fabrics include a variety of laces and embroideries, burnout velvet treatments and sheers, as well as microfibers. Silhouettes include bras, camis and coordinating bottoms.

LORE WEDS: Linda LoRe, president and chief executive officer of Frederick’s of Hollywood, is making no secret of what she plans to wear underneath her bridal gown at her wedding this Friday at the Bel-Air Hotel in Beverly Hills: undergarments a la Frederick’s. The accessories will include Frederick’s strapless Shimmer Corset and a Frederick’s garter.
“I haven’t decided which garter to wear, and I am considering thigh-high stockings by Frederick’s, of course,” said LoRe. “But I know I’ll be wearing our Body Shimmer [lotion] which gives a beautiful, sexy shimmer.”
LoRe, who was formerly president and ceo of Giorgio Beverly Hills, said her gown — of duchesse satin — was designed by All About Eve, a high-end eveningwear label she brought into the Giorgio fold several years ago. LoRe’s jewelry, which will include a pearl necklace and pearl bracelet with diamond spacers, was designed by Cheryl Perlmutter.
Who’s the groom?
Steve Starleaf, owner and tennis pro of Burbank Tennis Center.
Following a two-week honeymoon in Kauai and Maui, LoRe said she will be looking forward to returning to work at Frederick’s and said she will unveil “some exciting new plans” for the company’s direction in May.
