UZZO EXITS YSL AFTER 28 YEARS
NEW YORK — Connie Uzzo, American market director for Yves Saint Laurent, will be leaving the company.
Uzzo, a fixture at YSL for the past 28 years, had worked closely with the stores, licensees and franchises. “She was the eyes, ears, nose and soul of YSL in this country,” said a former colleague.
Uzzo couldn’t be reached for comment Friday on her plans.
A YSL spokesman Friday could not confirm her departure. However, sources said no successor is planned.
