NEW YORK — Fran Guay, a retired intimate apparel executive, died March 14 at her residence in Oceanside, Calif. She was 71.
The cause of death was lung cancer, according to her husband, Jack.
Prior to retiring in 1982, Guay had been director of design for Formfit Rogers foundations from 1980 to 1982.
Before that, she was vice president of SLC, a sleepwear firm known for the Cira brand of sleepwear designed by John Kloss.
Earlier, she was an assistant to the president of the House of Jamison, a better sportswear resource.
In addition to her husband, Guay is survived by a sister, Mary Louis Miller.
