THREE FIRMS SIGN WITH STYLECLICK
NEW YORK — Styleclick.com, the Los Angeles-based e-commerce enabler and product syndication network operator, struck a deal to provide various e-commerce services to three new vendors in exchange for upfront fees and a percentage of revenue from transactions.
The three companies who signed onto Styleclick.com’s network are Syrup, a young women’s contemporary fashion label; Peaches Uniforms, a manufacturer and distributor of uniforms for the professional health care market; and a teen community Web site called CyberVenue.com, which provides visitors content related to the entertainment and fashion worlds.
Styleclick.com develops and produces e-commerce Web sites for clients, aggregating them by category into cybershops as well as by brand. It also serves as a gateway to major e-commerce portals such as AOL, Excite, IVillage and Women.com.
“Styleclick.com is building a co-branded shop at our site that will offer products related to our music artists and teen audience,” said Pier S. Bjorklund, chief executive of CyberVenue.com, in a statement. “Our celebrity clients will, in some cases, model merchandise that fans can purchase.”
Styleclick.com, which agreed earlier this year to a $500 million merger deal with USA Networks Interactive, provides e-commerce services to more than a dozen fashion brands, including Rampage, Isotoner and The Buckle.
