BATH & BODY NAMES KORT

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Intimate Brands’ Bath & Body Works division has appointed Glenn Kort as executive vice president of science and technology.
In his new position, Kort will lead efforts in research and development, quality control and assurance, and product evaluation and development.
He reports to Beth Pritchard, president and chief executive officer of Bath & Body Works. Kort, who was principal and president of O.P.U.S. Altus Limited, a management consulting firm specializing in organizational effectiveness, has worked with Intimate Brands since 1995, when he began assessing the market potential for Intimate Brands’ personal care businesses, Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret Beauty. He has advised Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret Beauty and Gryphon on operational efficiency and effectiveness, supply chain strategy and standards, and product development improvements.
According to Pritchard, “Glenn is an experienced executive with broad exposure to our business. He has been an integral part of our strategic development, and I look forward to his continued contributions.”
During his career, Kort has held executive positions at Del Laboratories, Max Factor, Estee Lauder and Clairol.
