PARIS — Europ@Web, the Internet investment vehicle of Bernard Arnault, is preparing to debut Zurban, a weekly Web-zine guide to Paris, according to sources close to Arnault.
Although a time frame for the launch couldn’t be learned, it is believed Zurban will target 100,000 subscribers.
This wouldn’t be Arnault’s first foray into publishing. LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the luxury powerhouse Arnault controls and chairs, owns the Defosses International media company, which includes La Tribune financial daily and the Radio Classique music radio station. Arnault also recently acquired the Connaissance des Arts magazine, as reported.
