NEW YORK — The Underfashion Club will host a seminar called “Technical Update: The Future of Seamless and Seamfree” on May 23 at the New York Helmsley Hotel.
Paul Heron, vice president of merchandising for shapewear at the Bali Co. division of Sara Lee Intimate Apparel, is chairman of the event.
Seamless is considered one of the fastest-growing businesses in intimate apparel, and a strong turnout is expected from manufacturers and mills. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30. Speakers will include representatives from several textile concerns, including Speizman Industries, East Coast Molders and Nillit Yarns.
