With gallery hopping the trend du jour in Atlanta, all the artsy people in town certainly needed Bliss, the newly redone bistro in Midtown. Tucked into a row of the city’s hippest galleries, the restaurant is a perfect place for a light late-night bite.
With its exposed brick walls, warm lighting, large photographic prints and well-spaced tables, Bliss fits into the whole gallery atmosphere. The menu reflects that with simple bistro dishes like rack of lamb with goat cheese and market vegetables and strip steak with mashed potatoes and wild mushroom blue cheese sauce.
The prices are nice as well. Entrees range from $14 to $24, while salads run from $7 to $10. Chef Brandon Carter’s hope is to mix casual elegance with great food — exactly what the artsy Atlantans are looking for.
