NEW YORK — Mona Esphahani has been promoted to take over the vice president of marketing role at Escada USA that was vacated when Robin Sheer-Ettinger recently left the company.
Esphahani was previously vice president of merchandising and visual, and had earlier been director of retail advertising when she joined Escada in 1996.
In addition, Janet Adams, who joined Escada in July as vice president of wholesale, will take over the responsibilities of regional merchandising, which had been headed by Esphahani. Adams, who previously worked for Donna Karan as vice president of international sales for its women’s collection, will direct a seven-person team of regional merchandisers.
Esphahani’s background includes positions as marketing manager at Bally of Switzerland from 1994 to 1996 and, prior to that, as advertising and sales promotion manager at Jaeger International. In her expanded role at the firm, she will be responsible for all aspects of Escada USA’s marketing, advertising, visual, special events and public relations.
Both executives report to Caryn Lerner, co-president and chief marketing officer of Escada.
