COOLER TANS: For those juniors and tweens looking to match their tans with their summer coolers, The Accessories Place has produced a licensed line of cooler bags for Coppertone.
The coolers come in a variety of styles including heart and circular shapes with prints such as flowers, hearts and fish. They are merchandised with little added value gimmicks such as water bottles, flashlights or beach balls and some are sold in a tote-style packaging.
“We wanted to make a fashion type of cooler which we feel is new and exciting,” said Howard Katz, president of The Accessories Place.
The coolers wholesale prices range from $3.50 to $8 and March delivery, with planned distribution in mass market retail.
